Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your email address, display name, and optionally a profile picture. If you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google's OAuth service.

Content You Create

Flashcard sets, cards, and comments you create are stored in our database. Public sets are visible to all users; private sets are accessible only to you.

Usage Data

We automatically collect data about how you interact with the Service — including pages visited, study sessions completed, and game room activity — to provide core features like streaks, XP, and leaderboards.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and localStorage for theme preferences. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense) may set cookies to serve personalised ads. You can control ad personalisation via the cookie consent banner.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure

OpenAI — AI card generation (card content is sent to OpenAI's API)

Vercel — hosting and analytics

Each third party processes data according to its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, sets, and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Request deletion of your account and data
Object to or restrict certain processing

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
